At Fitzpatrick’s New Lodge we are committed in taking every measure and precaution in order to protect and keep our customers, staff and their families safe throughout Covid-19.
The protection measures which we have implemented throughout our Shop, Forecourt, Deli and Café areas are outlined below;
Customer Hand Sanitising Stations
We have erected wall mounted hand sanitiser stations at the entrance and throughout the inside the shop. We encourage all visitors to use this facility before entering.
Extra wall mounted hand sanitiser stations have also been provided for the safety of our staff, throughout the shop, staff-canteen, staff- toilet, office and store areas.
Disposable Gloves for Re-fuelling
Customers are asked to use the provided disposable gloves when re-fuelling at our Forecourt area. When entering the shop, we ask customers dispose of gloves before they enter the shop and use the hand sanitiser provided at the shop entrance.
Following guidance from the Government to maintain social distancing of 2 meters within the shop. We have introduced social distancing signage throughout our shop.
This will help customers navigate more quickly, to further enhance a quicker shopping experience and protect the safety of both customers and staff ,we also encourage customers to pay by card if they can do so.
We ask that customers/ staff respect other shoppers and to wait and stand back to allow people to pass if and when it is safe to do so.
Increased Hard Surface Area Cleaning
We practice increased routine cleaning of all high-touch, hard surface areas such as counter areas, pin pads , fuel pumps and other checkout surfaces, etc
We exercise a daily deep cleaning of all floor areas throughout the entire shop.
Ensuring Safe Food Handling & Hygiene Practices
We will keep vigilant to ensure our staff follow our strict Standard Operating Practices for Food Handling and Food Hygiene. We have increased the supply of disposable gloves and hand sanitiser throughout our food serving and preparation areas for our staff.
For staff we have implemented enhanced hygiene protocols, in line with HSE advice. All staff regularly wash and sanitise their hands when serving customers.
As a company we are continually monitoring our Covid measures, and we want to ensure customers that we will continue to communicate all future safety measures and precautions which we may take.
